Easter Seals Disability Services

Easter Seals Goodwill Industries assists public policymakers as well as residents of Connecticut to understand and act in support of policies and programs that help people with disabilities and social and economic disadvantages achieve their personal goals.

Our staff, in partnership with consumers, their families, and other nonprofit organizations, work to share public policy, build appropriate constituencies for systems change and transform public opinion regarding people with disabilities and other special needs.  Legislative efforts focus on ensuring that the State of Connecticut affords all of its residents access to transportation, education, housing, medical services, employment and recreation and that adequate funds are available to support these necessary services.
